My husband and I both had “moderate” cases of COVID-19. We completely lost our senses of taste and smell. We also had what we called “brain fog.” I have really wondered if the two were related. Was the anosmia a clue that the virus had gotten into our brains? Do people who don’t lose their sense of taste and smell also experience brain fog? It will be so interesting to see if scientists find a link.
