Sky Fire

The sting of wet sulfur, kindled by sky fire, slices through the rumble of thunder. Disco-ball-flickers vein the inky arms of clouds, which undulate so low above me that I can almost taste them, imbibe in their ire.

A curious dampness laden with pine pollen and daffodils fills my nostrils.
