Thank you for your article. My husband and I had “moderate” cases of COVID-19 in March. I have a crazy, overreactive, immune system which has given me Guillain Barre and psoriatic arthitis. When I fell ill in March, I was not sure whether or not I should continue to take my Otezla (which suppresses my immune system). On about day 4, I stopped taking it. I did get much sicker than my husband and had a whole extra week (I was very sick for 16 days) of a fever trying to spike back up to 104.7 and an inability to eat (with naseau and the whole gamut of abdominal issues). I have wondered what would have happened if I had stayed on the Otezla. Would it have lessened the severity? Or would it have hampered my body’s ability to fight the virus? I suppose I will never know.
