The Life of Freyja
Freyja, playing in the garden, with that wild look in her eyes….
This little one melts my heart multiple times a day. If she is not racing around, tussling with her big brothers, Bisou and Emerson, she is sitting in the presence of her big sister, Uma, as if trying to learn how to be an elegant lady rather than a little tomboy.
A rescue baby, she was bottle-fed from two weeks of age. Without a doubt, she is the best tree-climber in the house, and can almost outclimb Mr. Squirrel, who taunts us from the birdfeeder before vaulting into the palm tree, then jumping to the pine, and escaping into the tree canopy overhead.
