The Rufous are probably rare up there, but they do travel as far north as Alaska. They are tiny — like half the size of the other ones. We get Orioles too. The problem i had last year was the bees getting into the Oriole jelly and feeders (the ports are bigger than the hummer ones because of their beaks). I felt so badly for the bees drowning into the feeders, so I took them down. I think I am going to try a tube feeder for the Orioles this year though. They should be arriving soon.
