I’m not suggesting you go to the window, wrench it open and dramatically throw your phone to the wind, but period dramas are a reminder to be more present in our lives and with our loved ones. We might try practising mindfulness, the art of living in the moment, or removing distractions, like keeping our smartphones in another room.
